It is with much regret that we must cancel the Texas Cup Tournament & Showcase. It's a decision we do not take lightly, however, with over half of the participants coming from out of town, the safety of the players, and the likelihood that our facilities will at some point receive enough rain to close are central factors to our decision.
Per our rules:
If inclement weather cancels the tournament prior to the start of the first scheduled game, a maximum of 50% of the entry fee will be retained by the tournament to cover the start-up cost of the tournament.
Each team will receive a 50% refund that will be processed next week.
If any of you have Texas Cup Merchandise Pre-Orders, they will be shipped next week.
Thank you for your understanding - Happy Thanksgiving.

The Sting Soccer Group is proud to host the prestigious 2015 Texas Cup Invitational tournament and showcase.  In its 26th year, Texas Cup has been the longest running, and largest all female soccer tournament and showcase in the country.  Mirroring Sting’s tradition of excellence, Texas Cup provides more than just great venues, facilities, and referees; it provides the best in hospitality, recognition and of course, competition. We are continually committed to providing an exceptional tournament atmosphere where teams compete to win some great awards, and showcase age groups compete to gain valuable recognition from college coaches across the country. Our goal is to provide a first class and memorable experience for players, coaches, and families from around the country.

Last year, we hosted over 200 teams for the tournament and we expect to add even more this year, and have over 100 collegiate coaches and representatives from colleges from all over the United States who will evaluate talent and scout players. To accommodate such a huge turnout, our tournament will be hosted at two different locations, Russell Creek Park and Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Soccer Complex.

Texas Cup would not achieve the success that it enjoys without the dedication and tireless support of so many individuals. The Sting Soccer family has over 250 committed volunteers that work throughout the Thanksgiving weekend to make sure that the tournament runs smoothly.  We appreciate and acknowledge all the volunteers that have given so much time and effort for this event.

The Sting Soccer Group thanks you for choosing to spend your holiday weekend with us at Texas Cup!
